Day Market + Night Market

At the edge of Noreña Park, Las Setas offers something rare: a market that adapts to the seasons.

Twice weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays, 9am-2pm) it's a classic Córdoba street market. But from mid-July to early September, Friday evenings become the summer night market, a model that's proved so successful it may reshape how Córdoba markets operate.

History

The night market innovation came in 2024 after Córdoba City Council approved new ordinances allowing schedule adjustments for weather.

COMACOR (Association of Self-Employed Street Vendors of Córdoba) led the initiative, with president Antonio Torcuato championing the move as both a health measure and a commercial opportunity.

The first night editions (July 19 to September 6, 2024) proved the concept - shoppers happily traded midday heat for starlight and music.
