Andalusia's First Gourmet Market
When Mercado Victoria opened on 1 May 2013, it became Andalusia's first gourmet food market, a concept that has since spread across Spain.
Set within the Jardines de la Victoria, the market occupies a stunning 1877 iron pavilion that once hosted Córdoba's fair.
This isn't a traditional produce market.
It's a gastronomic destination where 30+ stalls serve everything from Cordoban classics to international cuisine, open seven days a week until late night.
History
The building's story begins in 1877 as Córdoba's Círculo de la Amistad Pavilion, hosting the city's annual fair.
A pseudo-Mudéjar body was added in 1918, giving the structure its current 2,000 m² footprint.
For over a century, this iron-and-glass pavilion witnessed Córdoba's social life.
In 2013, it was reimagined as a gourmet market - blending the historic architecture with a modern food hall concept that changed how Andalusians think about market spaces.
